UVCE Foundation is committed to enhancing alumni advocacy and outreach with the Government and the University to ensure that UVCE is strong for generations to come. Our consistent effort has been to implement the UVCE Vision Document released at the UVCE Mega Re-­union 2011 by the then Union Minister Sri Veerappa Moily. Under the UVCE Foundation team several memoranda were submitted to successive Governments , advocating for implementation of the Vision document and grant autonomy to the Institution. After years of relentless follow up, the long sought ask has been honoured by the Government of Karnataka and UVCE is finally declared an Autonomous Institution on September 15th, 2022.
