To foster, maintain and support lifelong relationships by engaging its worldwide community of alumni, students, and well-wishers with UVCE and each other so as to encourage the philanthropic and volunteer support that will advance the mission of the institution.
A Little About Us
UVCE Foundation, founded in 2002, is a philanthropic organization formed by UVCE alumni to support UVCE in its core purpose of developing engineers who will contribute to the technology world and to strengthen it in becoming a leading engineering Institution. To fulfill its role, UVCE Foundation relies on donations and sponsors, and cultivates resources and relationships with UVCE alumni and well-wishers.
Advocacy and Support for UVCE
UVCE Foundation works closely with the Government, University, faculty, student body, alumni and other well-wishers to bring the college at par with top institutions in the country. UVCE Foundation is committed to enhancing alumni advocacy and outreach with the Government and the University to ensure that UVCE is strong for generations to come. Our consistent effort is to implement the UVCE Vision Document released at the UVCE Mega Reunion 2011 by the then Union Minister Sri Veerappa Moily. Revitalising Infrastructure & Modernising Experience
Investment for projects from 2002 : Over Rs 3 Crore
UVCE Foundation, estd 2002., seeks to fund select laboratories/departments at UVCE so as to enhance the functional efficiency of the college for teaching as well as research. Under this program, UVCE Foundation supports addition of infrastructure and procurement of equipment and laboratory materials that ensure that the practical work and project work by the students is contemporary and suited to the needs of the industry.
Scholarship Programs- VIDYA JYOTHI
As a part of our initiatives to give back to UVCE, we have established the UVCE Foundation Scholarship Program, supported by donations from UVCE alumni across the world, to help needy students in bearing their educational expenses. The Foundation’s mission is achieved through a Scholarship Program that enables awardees to overcome financial hardships to complete their higher education and become useful members of the local and global community.
